Running Restless Assault last night and got to Narandi. He spawned right next to some of the big ice columns that are jutting up from the snow. When he split the first time, one of his dupes spawned *inside* the ice and couldn't be aggro'd. Luckily, that was one of the fake ones and didn't hamper the mission. He split normally the other times.

Just wondering if other people have seen this.
    Barton and Yinla like this.

Still seeing this problem. Had the real one spawn inside the ice column the other day, and today we pulled him down the mountain (away from those columns) only to have the real Narandi spawn inside the mountain. Could see his head bobbing up thru the snow during his animation. Both times had to drop and restart the mission.

Just pull him away to an open area.

He always spawns at the same place and he always paths toward the frozen river. There is a simple trick to ensure you can always fight him on the ice river.

At the very beginning of the mission when you have Zrelik "start" the event, hail him again, chose any of the farther dorf camps and choose to send ALL the dorfs to that camp. That way they won't interfere with Narandi later.

Narandi always spawns in the same place and after about 45 seconds he will begin walking toward the ice river. If you have sent the dorfs away, you can just setup on the river and wait for him to come to you!

It's much easier picking out the decals under the fake mobs when you're down on the ice.

Unfortunately, we don;t have a good way to fix this. We don't have the tools to detect geometry when we choose a location. As players suggest, try moving the fight to a more open area.

Could you possibly adjust his spawn point to a static spot on the ice and not have him roam?
