Pretty much this. As a ranger to maximize my dps I'm hitting my multibind key as fast I can. Once to get the spell off, then once to get the disc/abilities off, then spells, etc. Actual marcos are nice, but you lose out on dps. Best way I have found so far to deal with the amount clicking that needs to be done without losing dps is to tie all my dps spell slots to one key and then make a social without pauses with my discs and AAs that I use the most on it tied to the same key. Thankfully for rangers there are really only 5 spells (or 3 if your super cool) and 5 disc/abilities that need to be spammed constantly.
