Removing Effects in Raid

Tried my first raid in a decade and the sparkly stuff negated any visibility of mobs. They are pretty, but is there a way to remove the effects completely so one can see what is going on?

    Thanks.

Under options/display you can turn all spells off. If your still lagging you can lower your far clip plane in options as well but don't forget to raise it back up when the raids over ;). Also you can /showname 1 to have all players only show 1 name and /showname all to turn it back on (this used to be the command, not sure if it still works)
  3. Winnowyl Suffering is optional.

Options -> Display -> Particle Effects -> Player = Near, Low, Me + NPC -> Opacity around 25% will allow you to see auras and the like on raids that are sometimes needed for emotes.

Personally, I have nearly all the luclin models turned off, as well as shadows. My terrain quality is on low, no bloom lighting. I have my sky turned off most of the time, and am showing no new armor (Hero's Forge). I do run with my clip plane turned up all the way, however. But my LoD Bias is turned all the way up, and Level of Detail is turned on. I also turned off pet and merc names. I don't care who they belong to. =P

Hopefully that'll help you with lag on raids. =)
