Reckless Ascension is a new progression guild on Bristlebane. We are a solid core group of people who left a top-tier end-game guild to try to create our own guild where we can have fun and get back to end-game content as soon as possible. We are looking to fill spots for all classes right now and are foregoing our application process until we grow to the point where it becomes necessary. Our core group is quite skilled (if I do say so myself), and we are looking for skilled players who want to continue enjoying the game and down content! We are open to returning players, unhappy players, or unrefined players that we can help better themselves. Our leadership devotes all of our game time to making ourselves and our guild better for everyone, and will do everything we can to help you. Our current raid times are Su & Tu 7:30P - 12A EST until we fill in a bit more and expand our days to most likely include Thu and possibly Wed. One thing I wanted to add to my post but forgot to before I hit reply: If you're a grouper and have ever given thought of transitioning to or even just trying out the raid game, now is the perfect time and opportunity. We're taking time to get everyone the skills and gear they need to be successful as we push on into content. It's a great opportunity to get in and get experience and gear before we take off. I made the jump myself, and I couldn't be happier. It's also a great opportunity to try out the raiding side of things while we're only raiding two days/week, and that doubles as a great jumping off place to get groups going and flags/missions done with real live people on off days instead of being stuck lfg or boxing with mercs all of the time.

CC down to a RA force of 37 on our first attempt! Almost knocked out EW too but it was getting late and we lost a few. We gave it a great shot with 30 and almost had it down. Congrats RA! Another attempt on Thursday and we will be T2 flagged!

RA celebrated their four month anniversary this past week, and in doing so beat Xorbb 3 on their second attempt and became flagged for T3. Congrats RA! Oh - and then to celebrate T3 we went ahead and one-shot Chelsith right after. Way to go guys!! What an accomplishment to go from a small bunch of mostly group geared people with a handful of raiders at the begining of the year to becoming the #4 guild on the server in the less than two months we've been "officially" raiding!!!! We're flying high! We are opening up a few classes for recruitment where we have needs for high attendance raiders. Don't worry about flags (though they are a plus), and don't worry about gear. And to follow on to our one-shot on Chelsith, we decided to just go ahead and one-shot all of T3. PoS down on our first run, and Reckless Ascension is now flagged for T4! Way to go guys! With that being said, we're going to take a little bit of time in T2/T3 to get our raid force up to speed on gear before we make our big push into T4/CoTF and start playing alongside the big boys. A little update, we walked into t4 the other nice and payed glimpse a little visit and got some easy loots. Next week we are planning on moving into T4 even more before powar comes out now is a great time to join in! We are currently accepting applications for Bards, Clerics, Berserkers, Rogues, Enchanters, Magicians, Monks, Shamans, and Wizards! Though even if your class isn't open if you think you are a top notch player go ahead and contact us anyway!
UPDATE! We just beat WK, and I might say it was pretty easy. We're still a few people short from where we'd like to be so for a limited time we are offering shortened app periods to ALL apps that we take. For certain classes we are offering even shorter app periods (as short as 1 week!), these classes are Enchanters, Clerics, Bards, Warriors. Even if you are not one of these high need classes we may offer you a shorter app period if you come geared/skilled and ready to raid. We decided to pay the glorified trash clear also called Memories of the Faceless (hof2) a visit tonight, beaten in one night! A few seconds off the 15 min achiev also! Planning on finishing up ROF so we can make our final move into cotf! Still recruiting! http://www.recklessascension.org/
In less then 4 months of raiding we have come from ToV to completing ROF, we just beat An End to Fear, took us 3-4 tries and we got it down. About half a year ago we started this guild with less then 10 people are now pushing into COTF, having already completed ROF. We still have a couple of spots open if you're looking to get in on the fun!
