Reallocating Refunds Rogue AAs

Could someone please link a thread that recommends how to reallocate the refunded AAs for a 105 Rogue? I've been gone a year and it would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is how I ended up doing it on my guys. Hopefully acct. is gold, if silver this is a problem as you will not be able to check your autogrant box or if still checked spend enough AA's to get down to 210 (highest number that will still allow autogrant once you log out and back)

So let's say you show 1500aa or something unspent now. You won't have enough to buy all aa's you think you previously had, this is because autogrant will come into play and still grant many many aa's if you spend your unspent on aa's not autogranted.

So for instance on focus tab of aa window you'll have synergy for your class, most classes want to max this and I did, 100aa a pop. Threw in persistent illusions for 30, some other focus ones from that tab and misc. aa from class tab that don't get autogranted. Now get down to 210 aa and stop. If gold log out and back in and autogrant will give - Innate Regen, Burst of Power, Rogue's weapon mastery or whatever and many many more. It won't max them but will give max amount autogranted for your level.

See what that gives you and now you can carefully spend those remaining 210 on what you think is best. Hope this helps.

Basically don't buy any AAs from the CoTF expansion or anything older than that. Once you get down to 210 and relog you will get those automatically. If you buy them before auto-grant starts working again you're just wasting points.

Great advice if he can do it. Many times, the newer (non-auto-granted) ones have pre-reqs which are in those expacs. Still, try to do what Niskin says, when you can.

The other approach would be, if you can save 300 AA (i.e., you're level 100), and you have 500 refunded, so you need to spend down 200, and you can't spend any on AAs which wouldn't be auto-granted, you could try to figure out which AAs would be auto-granted to you, and if it adds up to more than 200, eat the loss, log out, log in with new auto-granted AAs, and then spend the 300 you have left.

Ah well, so much for goofing up the first four 105s. At least I followed Niskin's advice on the last two. Thanks.

Little chance of a redo, right?:)
