Rapiers Ho!

If you were a Rapier before you know that we can be hated on the outside but on the inside it is very warm and snuggly. We have allowed players with casual playstyle or non-elitist personalities to have access to the same gear/raid/support system that they would otherwise not be able to commit to. We have gotten folks countless epics and planes gear during classic content. We aren't trying to be the best...which is silly, honestly...we are trying to have fun, and make friends, and good memories. Because every server ends up a graveyard but the time and relationships you build is what lasts.

I got banned for training and I'll be the first to admit that. I thought it was funny. Not everyone does. But the bad stuff always rises to the top. Please remember that when I wasn't being a jerk I was helping folks with power levels and gear giveaways. I am both a really trolly and controversial player, but also a sweetheart to the underdogs. And honestly, if it wasn't for the haters, none of this would have been possible. You really don't get it do you? After all this time? We LOVE it! The trash talk is fuel for the engine! I have a collection of hate tells that'll be NFTs one day!

The reason why the Rapiers brand still isn't 100% on classic raids is because we are constantly accepting new players and teaching them how to do these raids that some folks have never done before. Do you know how much patience you have to have to explain Sky Keys to 40 new players? So cast your dirty hooks. None of you would have brought Emeralz, a player with only 1 arm using a fishing pole, all the way with you. We did that. It cost us more than you'll ever know.

Our mission statement from the beginning was to be the guild that isn't like the others. We don't require applications or attendance or batphones. Come as you are. I don't want a bunch of Yes Men. I like a melting pot. This guild is built not on our level 50s, but our level 20s. We like how many friends we make each server. This is our 5th Rapier guild. We have averaged 1500-2000 members each server. Our whole premise is not taking ourselves seriously, which is an epidemic in EQ since launch. If you've exhausted that style of playing, maybe it's time to try being a Rapier and cutting loose. The closest thing I can compare it to is a live ICP concert.

So I have no love of my characters or accounts or prestige or reputation or gear or Krono. I die broke every server. I just want YOU to join a guild with over 1000 members! Enjoy constant raids, T-shirts, Livestreams, and Powerlevels! Never struggle to assemble a group for your epic mob and spawn picks on command! Avast mateys, come May the Rapiers are leaving port and heading out for more crazy adventures!

EQ baby has absolutely NOTHING to do with whatever these dudes are trying to push. I don't play EQ anymore and have absolutely no desire to come back. I'm only coming here to post because I'm tired of getting spammed with messages about these people and all the stuff they have been spamming in game and on the forums and in discord about teaming up with EQ baby.

Again, EQ Baby will never be teaming up with rapiers and to my knowledge kubat has absolutely no intention on moving eq baby to any new server launching.

TEB is one of the most toxic guilds I had the displeasure of playing with on a TLP. Go ahead delete this comment, everyone knows it's true.

Depends who in this thread you believe. On one hand you have one guy saying he is, on the other hand you have a guy who says he IS Atabishi saying he is NOT.

I thought majority of EQ baby were completely toxic and rude but I ran in to a couple really nice ones in Howling Stones while farming.

i dont know who the faker is, but our discord is poppin with plans and ive already said who is joining. Rapiers have a policy of taking all comers, so if pegarm wants to come back, he can, hes a proper pirate, if astral or even cabdru (shisssarrrrrrrrrr) wants in ... sure.

and i'll laugh when keon is drunk raiding sky having a blast, with the crew from eq baby being the driving force of the raid organisation, cause we will be going DEEEP.

they hate us Keon cause they stuck in borin dz guilds who treat the game like a 2nd job.

very cool if Bllack is playing, I was in a few of his Classic fear raids as a random from another guild back on Mangler or Coirnav I think and he treated non rapier guildies very fairly on the raid. I had heard he stopped playing his Necro due to some health issues so glad to hear he is well enough to play again.

I think I have the old discord but if not will wait to join. Dont know the others mentioned but all you can really ask for is people that can run raids and not do loot council, all else toxic players etc. are part of every big guild with zerg numbers, you will get the whole flavor of player base.
