Hello everyone, I am just returning to the game after about a 1 year hiatus. My question is on the Everquest home page in the server population window does the black indicate server activity or does the white?

When I was playing about a year ago Fippy seemed to be the popular server due to it being early on in the progression. Is that still the case now or are the other servers regaining some population also? I guess what I am primarily trying to figure out is which servers are the most active?

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone

The white fills up I believe, you can get better low/med/high at http://www.soe.com/status/ or we have one at http://eqresource.com/serverstatus.php (We only have EQ1 listed, so it will probably be faster and such [we also auto refresh page so you dont have to click update button when it refreshes, etc], and we pull the data from their status API + update it with most recent downtime message :p)

On the SOE page, black is population, white is empty. It is also all relative, and intentionally not meant to indicate any absolute population numbers.

Fippy is still more populated than Vulak, although the F2P rules meaning that you have have Gold to access population, plus the new server (Vox) means that Vox is probably more interesting for most new players - better spread of levels, access to mercs, etc.

But the simplest answer to just look at the status page.
