Quick mounts and fun zones

First question... not that I haven't loved 'Motion Sickness' (what I've named my free Raptor mount), but are there any easily questable or affordable or otherwise fast to get mounts a heroic 85 (on FV if it matters) could go after? As I'm mostly just having a blast exploring old zones until Agnarr comes ole MoSi will work if he (she? I didn't check under the carriage as it were) has to, even looks awesome running through most of Kunark, but I'd like a little variety in my garage for other times and places if that's something achieveable.
(Edit: I know I can buy some with daybreak points but, as they're server specific, I'm holding off on real world money purchases until either I'm sure I like Agnarr and stay or decide I don't like it and come back)

Second question... I went and hit Gyrospore ...Zeta is it? I'll tip my hat to the theme, made some decent xp solo (even if I won't take the plunge to use Mercs yet), made a friend or two when other players wanted groups, loved the bonus xp, but... are there any other new zones (Anything after PoP) that are bonus xp and worth seeing at 85? (Gonna say though, shooting me out of a cannon to a steampunk/clockwork realm is going to be hard to top)

found this somewhere , anyway it's what I do too, and even easier since you are in firiona server, if you know someone who own the glowing black drum , they could let you click it once and your toon will be flagged to have max mount speed , so even if you buy the slowest run speed horse ( 9 k or so ) it would be as fast as the glowing black drum.

if you got enough loyalty tokens ( take 960 to buy a gold ticket ) you could have your own mount ( again , there are 8 different items from the casino and knowing someone who got the previous 7 , the glowing black drum would be next ).

I got several toons in FV , I could help you getting one if you have 960 loyalty tokens, to buy the gold ticket.
    what's your toon name there?
that link got the fastest mounts and some more :

Probably not relevant for people under level 105, but I thought I would mention it anyway:
the achievement reward Golden Frontier Rhinoceros Saddle for completing the group portion of EoK is raid-speed. Making it one of the few raid-speed mounts that doesn't require daybreak-cash, raids or luck to get.

Geez I want one of those when I grow up! At least one raid speed mount makes them all raid speed.

Roboboar is terrrrrible for someone trying to avoid riding motion.

The ideal would be to get either a gnomecoptor from the 12th Anni "raid" in Dragonscale Hills, or shell out whatever to buy a Cragslither. Cragslithers are the smooth moving and low riding. Super nice.

Thanks everyone for your answers. 'Like''s all around.

I'll look into the 10/12th anniversary mounts, lol favoring the 12 for what Brohg pointed out. How much longer are the anniv. quests going to be available to do now?

Kookoo, I've sent you a PM to exchange character names and I bought a krono off Daybreak and sold it the other day (2.3m, lol yea inflation) so I could buy an ingame plat mount once you and I played the drum.

I tried playing in Feerot the Dream the other day but it was a nightmare ([ba dum dum]/bad joke drums sound effect), general chat seemed to guide me against it, as it's a add-heavy, vision obscured, occasional tough mob zone (blues there were reaming me compared to Gyrospire blues). Some folks in general suggested some of the zones North of the Crescent Reach area that are hot zones now (I'd dabbled there but never really played), and a few others so, we'll see how that plays out today.

Edit: Oh and an unrelated question... I read I can't give my Merc direct commands but I CAN set it to assist a main tank... How do I set the main tank as far as the Merc is concerned and could it be set on my BL pet?
