Question on the TLP's

I'll just add that I've learned more and seen more zones and quests on Agnarr than I ever did in this era on live. I like exploring so this is bonus fun for me.

Agnarr experience is probably cool and all, but...once you have the AAs and your main is decently geared, then what? Game is stale, nothing new...Mischief it is !

Few weeks of Mischief max AA and well geared, now what?

On Mischief (or any other TLP)? Raid log for a week or two then do it again, Agnar is forever.

yea why raidlog new content every few months when you can raidlog the same content in perpetuity

Mischief has its own merits, which are undeniably different than Agnarr.

I just felt it important to share that there is an alternative to the TLP rat race that still offers the nostalgia inherent in TLP.

As for Agnarr - many folks will build a main to a certain point and then start an alt (or box) and then “main” that one to a certain point. Effectively you find people to varying degrees end up character building an account or accounts.

Take my case: Start with 1 account; Ranger just needs specific LDON augs and P4/P5 drops to “complete him” for a mostly “max DPS setup.” I’ll be taking my place in line for a handful of those drops, so I’ll just accumulate DKP with little else to look forward to outside of bringing all tradeskills to 300 and a few clicky type quests. This makes your point re: Agnarr.

I have made a paladin alt on the account to work on next so when I play I can offer DPS or tanking to do things with friends. I’ve also always boxed with the assistance of various software, so I have an old laptop setup now and am running a shaman up as well. This will allow me to also fit the role of healer / slower as needed and adds a new flavor of learning to box with multiple keyboards to manage. This concept of multiple computers is an unnecessary hurdle or burden at this stage of the server; but thems be the rulez!

Granted this doesn’t fit the hardcore TLP progression mold, but this is an inherent trait of expansion locked servers. Ya can experience the game to its very depths on a single character to make them “perfect” and if you want, explore other classes as far as you wish to go without needing to re-do a full TLP experience.

It isn’t for everybody, but there are enough of us to make it “work” for now.

I am glad Agnarr work for you, and whoever still plays there :)
