So, I saw one comment on ZAM for this quest, about it bugging out on the Fearful Spectre for the NW portal step. No mention of how to keep it from happening. I had it happen twice last night, so had to keep restarting the quest. I did the quest with my mains a few years back, and didn't have any trouble then. Any hints on what's wrong, and how to address it? Thanks!
Figured it out: On a hunch, I dropped cheetah and SoE buffs, and turned on walk instead of run. Since I was 2 boxing and using one merc, I was consistently getting the kill shot on the merc when the 2 PCs were farther away due to the fear. Still got the kill shot by the merc, but I was at least close by when it happened
