I was thinking having some taxidermy animals would be kind of nice. Would decent looking critter be even feasible w/ in the parameter you have to work in? I know there are pets of various animals available, but was thinking having stuffed ones so they don't take up pet space and don't move. I was thinking of an elephant w/ a howdah, but somehow I don't think that could be pulled off.
It's possible but not easy. We are limited with the number of faces/triangles for the model. Statues are a bit easier, since they don't have to indicate being 'lifelike'. With a 'stuffed' thing the pose is pretty key to pulling it off. Are you thinking they would be taxidermy/museum style pieces, perhaps with a base? Or just a posed stuffed whatever?
This sort of thing would be very easy from the inside I'm thinking. Just unanimated dogs/cats/chickens/etc. Making separate Player's Studio items is just reinventing the wheel.
