PvP on in Sleeper's Tomb

We all know PvP is awful in EQ but some people really want to see red so here is my idea: Title

Every tlp I've heard of has unleashed this event asap because there's always that one guild. It seems to raise the ire of many, rightfully so, freeing the dragon is a death sentence for everyone on Velious. It is a hard thing to take up arms against your fellow man...shaped sentient being, alas, the dragons must be defended against violence with violence.

Pvpers have till vel unlocks to gear up and prepare themselves. You could just have the whole zone pvp flagged but it might be more fun to have an NPC that will port you into ST after you [Swear] to help keep the sleeper sleeping. You are now non kos in the zone and cannot attack npcs, you can however buff and heal them. You are pvp flagged for anyone in zone that is not allied.

The longer the 3...hundred esq pvpers hold out against the zerg the longer they get their cherished pvp, the longer they hold out the longer pve guilds get to farm ST via aoc. Almost everyone is happy. If the pvpers get steamrolled and sleeper goes woke then nothing changed and nothing was lost in trying something new.

I approve this idea.

There is 1 PVP server. There aren't even enough PVPers to get that server off low pop. Your not getting a PVP TLP until you (the PVP players) show there is a demand for EQ PVP.

They gave you a path, you keep trying to take every other route but that one. IF you want to PVP on a TLP so bad, get everyone into discord that wants to; split into .. well I was going to say 3 but lets face it, split into 2 guilds and flag up as PVP. You 2 can fight it out for all the old school pvp glory you want. Noone else will give a , and you can have your PVP TLP experience.

Not that you'd even do that... I'm guessing like most PVPers you just want to grief people who don't want to PVP.

Me? No. But OP's idea wasn't for a pvp tlp, it was a very specific set of circumstances which I thought were interesting and that the guy I quoted didn't even acknowledge, they just went on a copy pasta of why pvp is dumb and won't happen (while true, completely ignored the OP's idea).

it is a good idea to keep the sleeper sleeping.

Some nerds will just beeline to ST and wake it, or when people go to sleep. It'll last a day.

People see PvP, stop reading, and go right to ranting the same nonsense. I'm all for this. Also
