I was wanting to get some information on the % of item drops in RoS raids, our sample size is rather small and was looking for a guild that had their system viewable by the public. I remember a few that where several years back and was wondering if any still are around. Thanks
I like to use magelo to find drop rates. ex: Prickle, pet ear from Cactiiki: https://eq.magelo.com/item/151713/Prickle
Magelo will only capture data of someone running their collector at the time of drops. Though it can be very useful, and would be more so if more ran the collector while raiding.
Are you trying to figure out a % drop rate for like legs/tunic etc? Or a certain item? Cause all that crap is random... like the Warrior 1 hander... still not dropped on Xegony... But the pal/sk 1 hander seems to be the super common drop in goro raid...
RNG will RNG. We had our first knight weapon drop from goro last night and we’ve been doing it weekly since the exp launched. So “Super common”...nay! Ngreth did say recently he made class drops relative to the % of population, but since we don’t actually know the breakdown, we can’t really derive much from it But yeah Hory is trying to determine the rarity of certain drops, specifically on raids past where he’s progressed, to determine what would be smart to make Phlogiston stuff as a stop gap measure.
we have yet to see any of the monk/beast weapons drop...so either bad luck on RNG or filtering us to extinction by lack of drop/forced currency purchases hehe (the latter is obviously a joke, we all know everyone loves monks )
