Preparing for a Server Move

    Am I missing anything?

    • Buy crate
    • Save house layout
    • Move out
    • Clean up shared bank
    • Backup/rename charname_servername.ini, ui_charname_servername.ini, house layout, etc.

    Do I need to clean out pending parcels?

    I don't know on the parcel, but I would just to be safe. I'd also rename some other files (various in userdata folder, BART_*, AT_*, Abilities_*, CJ_*, and GN_*, along with BZR_* in base eq folder)

    I'd also use /outputfile inventory filename.ext before and after, using a different filename and making sure nothing gets lost, and you have a record of what you had.

    You don't need to clear out parcels. I moved a character to FV a few weeks ago (after the account dropped to silver, so her additional bags were in parcels) and the parcels moved with her.

    Check bazaar, find cheap stuff you can barter or resell on new server.

    You can use GamSettingsMover to make the handling of character files easier as it will handle changed server names and character names.
