Confirmed Postmasters Challenge Bugged?

Any response or acknowledgement from Devs would be appreciated. At least even a "it's on the list to be fixed" or something lol.

Except by the time I was level 7 to 8 back in the day I had somewhere around 40 plat. Keeping in mind that leveling was so slow back then and there was no PoK to gate to as a low level that could gate that changing it did more damage to the TLP's and the rest of the servers than anyone wants to admit. Even with the low level that can gate to PoK it's just ludicrous that this warranted any attention to make this change.

Back in 1999 I leveled an inkie rogue to level 8 doing the dark shield of ebon quest over and over. It was grueling, the shields sold for little over a silver and it was just running around trying to avoid dying while gathering snake fangs and snake scales ever so slowly. So that post exaggerates the so called 'exploit'. If it was because it is more doable with a non kos race in those cities then that is just part of the game.

the exploit with the post master quest is actually because people could print 100ish plat an hour automated on every new tlp on the first day with out leveling up or doing anything else. and buy a bunch of cheap krono from people who didnt know better.

the change was good for tlps, this quest being bugged for some people is accidental collateral damage that i would assume is somewhat tricky to fix. you have to get the hot quest to read the newer quest.
or remake the quests to give less gold / plat and remove the only once flag or remake the post master challenge quest to go deliver a letter to each bard

They just need to make the quest giver look at the deliverys already made and give credit. They must be flagged some how to stop them being repteatable.

Having the postmaster check for delivered mail flags when hailed seems like a legit fix. Can a Dev reset the mail delivery flags on an individuals toon? If so, I'll do the mail again if they can't figure out a semi easy fix. Doesn't seem like it should be that big a deal. or just make it give less coin for reward. thats an easy across the board fix I would think no? then it could be repeatable

TBH I don't think this is very important to them so I don't think its high on their to do list. If thats the case I don't see why they don't pass out the rewards to people that petition with proof they completed it.

Wait for the dev to suddenly become motivated after 10 years.

I am sure this is low on the totem pole. Just looking for an update if we should expect anything on this or not. Or maybe if we can petition for the items? Maybe it would be easier to remove the postmasters flag all together so people can just do the quests without it.

confirmed for months. dev feedback of any kind please. Is it possible to have an individual toons flags pertaining to this issue reset. I will deliver the mail again if needed. or the flag given so that the postmaster shows 18 of 18 when hailed and I can progress. Either would be acceptable for me if a general fix isnt coming soon. Thank You

Honestly the fix is SUPER easy. If the Dev that this was handed to would just take a look. They've already implemented the type of coding that would work for this quest. Anniversary Tower Key quests.
First time run through, you get xp and currency. each consecutive run you only get the alt currency.
Do that here. remove the non-repeatable flag, and place those restrictions. Now you only get the rewards first time through and you can run it again if you like or need for other quests ( like the Postmaster's Challenge). That would fix the bug for everyone, it would allow the challenge to have to be completed as the devs wanted it to be originally, and the money exploit they did this for is removed.
Now, like this post. More likes it gets, higher the chance the Devs will see it and take note (possibly use the fix I outlined).
