poofing bags of pet toys

I think you guys do a good job with your sever patches and all, but honestly, all the plat I have lost out on buying pet toys is ridiculous! I mean , isn't there some way to make them quit vanishing after 30 minutes when you guys do a patch??? I try to keep a couple of bags of armor and jewelry and weapons all the time but when a patch happens I lose those and sometimes there is noone on for hours to get any more! Which causes grief to my plying time. If there's anything you can do to ease this would be most appreciated. TY, just a thought

Well, they are supposed to be temporary, that's what happens. I doubt there will be a game change to allow temporary items to be permanent.

That said, you have options: shroud before a patch, put spare temporary items in your house or what I do . . . just go into offline trader mode.

shroud did not work and going offline in trader mode will work if they take all servers down.don't think the devs give a rats@zz about this anyways. guess it doesn't even get so much as read by them ehhh , wtf DB doesn't care anyways as long as they get their money. think i'm about done giving them mine.

It use to be that all mage summoned items would disappear instantly if you went LD, logged or zoned. Most people rarely asked or purchased mage summoned items. Giving the 30 minute window was a blessing for everybody.

These days if you want to give your pet armor and weapons just buy better stuff in the bazaar or make your own armor/jewelry.

Buy a house and stock it up. As Qbert said, they don't poof when they are in the house storage (or they didn't last time I checked).

If you parcel them to yourself, don't they stay in your parcel? Thought I heard that somewhere...

Maybe you should have rolled a mage if you didn't want to be wasting plat for temporary pet toys only for them to disappear upon LD/Logging/System Maintenance /snark

That being said I will vouch for stockpiling your house with the folded packs, or any of the other multiple ways to circumvent the temporary tag.

Huh, I didn't think you could mail stuff to yourself, but I just tested it & it works. Go figure. I used to use alts, but this makes it much easier.

You can parcel stuff to yourself (I do it all the time when I need to clear space in my bags to tradeskill), however, you cannot directly parcel folded pet kits. You can buy them remotely in the bazaar and have them sent to you in parcel and yes, they should stay there under that circumstance, but I can't walk my mage up to a parcel vendor and just mail a folded pack to someone because it's temporary. The send button does not enable.
