You'll need a mouse for items. Ctrl + B works fine for opening bags, but the only way to move items is with a mouse.

I use W, A, S, D for movement controls, and Q, E for side-stepping. Pg Up, Pg Down, and Home for camera movement. Rarely do I use a mouse, and I have a laptop, but I need it for items and for AAs hot buttons aside from the home-row keyed ones.

Is a trackball or pad an option for you? Same functionality, different motions.

In the Windows "Ease of Access Center", under "Make the mouse easier to use", you can turn on 'mouse keys', which lets you use the numeric keypad to control the mouse - no third party programs required. (That's in Win7; may be labeled differently in other versions of Windows.) I used this a few years ago with a public computer that was missing a mouse; worked reasonably well. No idea if that will work with EQ or other games, but it's certainly worth a try.

Also check the other accessibility options built into Windows to see if there'd anything else that might be helpfull.

Aardas beat me to it! I agree with Aardas here. The Razer Nostromo is a great product. I tried finding other options, but the Nostromo is pretty hard to beat compared to what's out there.
