Yeah, don't let the misinformation spread by the zealots here put you off, EQ is meant to be played with other people such as your brother. It is a social game. People just have a stupid idea of what "social" actually means. To them, it is being in a group that never talks except to whine about how other people enjoy their play time. The dev's are very aware that families actually play together. It's the best sort of social gaming, playing with family and real life friends. Hey, maybe if people don't have any of those they will demand ruleset servers where no one else can either. Have fun!
