Do the weapons/armor you give pets disappear when you log off as if they where in your inventory? I asked in chat last night and got mixed answers.
No. Once you give a pet weapons/armor then they equip it until (a) they receive a better item, in which case original disappears or (b) pet dies, in which case any weapons/armor they had disappears...
Another way I interpret this is that you have mage summoned pet weapons/armor in your inventory. Not equipped on your pet, yet. If this is the case, then the weapons will disappear from your inventory if you log out. These summoned mage items are tagged with "Temporary". You can see the tag at the top of the item's display window.
