I never said any of the things that you listed, nor has any other mage in this thread. No one said that we should be "the near best at everything." So you've refuted a position that was not put forward. Congrats.

It seems like your purpose here is more to argue/be antagonistic than have a constructive discussion about Mage pets, so I'm going to say again that at this point the thread probably needs to be locked.

I agree, a dev needs to come in here and lock the thread because mages are weak, pets can't tank stuff in Eok and I broke the code.

It's not a straw man because you came into a discussion and told me I was wasting my time. Here again you offer that i'm here to be antagonistic when in reality I'm correct and others (mages) are arguing otherwise.

It's a simple topic that you are avoiding. Can a mage tank mobs in EoK.

Well, I am not calling for any ranger nerfs, despite them having a ridiculous amound ot DPSability, with all that utility, CC, pullability and meaningful buffs, aDPS and headshot and so - but I am NOT calling for rangernerfs (TM)!

Honestly, I keep my fingers crossed that the devs finally burn their nerfbat alltogether :-/ It has hit more than enough times already.

See now this is where I miss the good Ole days of babbleblade and shiftee trolling pet threads. Their posts were at least somewhat comical, not just typing to see writing on a wall.

500 AC lost fully buffed on a pet won't do much, however the issue is it wasn't necessary to be done right this second. Not to mention had players not caught the mistake pets could literally not tank a mob period.

That is the issue I have considering the pile of nerfs we get every year, even out of beta we got our of many line nerfed. There truly should be a point where nerfs stop and boosts start, which happens to every class but magicians.

There not going to stop the nerfs until either no one plays a mage or a mage pet is completely useless. It requires too much effort to tune content, both live and tlp, around multiple pet users. They much rather nerf so there effort in tuning pets to content is 0%.
