trying to decide between a box team- ive always ran a mage as the tank. but im being told that ill eventually hit a limit of what the mage can pet tank. looking at alternatives... how does a pal/chant work? not a super big fan of sk/sham for some reason. open to all the feedback in the world
A mage can pet tank anything you’d be able to tackle with any 2 box crew. A mage probably can’t tank some current content TBL missions, but a duo couldn’t do them either. If you’re looking to strictly 2 box and not group with much people, a mage + support is a great option to go with. Honestly with EQ the way it is these days it’s hard to go wrong. You can support heal/rune yourself with the mage, Sks are the best class by far, so you're always better off with an SK. i'd run ench for the other class whether you go SK or Mage.
