This makes me wonder if it is they type of quest. I've had very few go missing by that I mean 3 or 4 since the last down time. But this month I have only been doing 12 hour quests. Previously I was doing mainly 6 hour quests as I was finishing off all the stats and recruit tasks (which I have stopped doing now all is maxed). I've mainly been doing Trade, Exploration and Diplomatic for the collect items for an alt. The odd military and Stealth when I don't have enough of the other 12 hour quests
Don't think so, but haven't kept notes - will do so I mostly (and always have) do 12 hour quests and top up with 6hr ones if I run out of 12 hr ones I have agents for (altho have been doing a few 24hr for tradeskill) The 'special' quests (highlighted pink or blue) seem/seemed especially prone to go missing, but it may well be that I notice those most just because they are not run of the mill
I also have had issues with missing/returning quests and quests that "fail to start". It seems if you get an agent from a conversion or critical success quest that has returned, all agents with that name will cause a quest to fail to start, though to be honest, I think I have only had that issue with conversion quests failing to start.
For some reason, the last four times I have used Overseer, I have lost 1 quest each time. They have never come back either. Very frustrating.
Has something changed?? This is exactly what's happened to me today on all my accounts. Both this morning and this evening, one quest had disappeared from each set of 5. I *thought* they did yesterday too, but wasn't paying so much attention so not 100% sure I really really don't want to go back to the do quest/zone/redo quest/zone/redo quest etc that plagued us for so long.
If we are getting phantom agents, is it possible we are also seeing phantom quests? A disconnect between the server and the user data on the computer? Able to fill out and start the quest but the server doesnt register it because the server doesnt recognize it as being a valid quest linked to the user.
I haven't lost any quests since the patch but after zoning after finishing all quests and starting 5 new ones, after zoning i was 6/5 and could claim one i had done previously.

Similar experience here.... Also on AB Yesterday morning 1/5 on 4 accounts was missing (ie one on each of the 4) This evening 1/5 on 3 accounts was missing Perhaps ironically, the third account I remembered to check by zoning that nothing was missing. It wasn't - all 5 present and correct. I don't recall ever having a bug where 5/5 quests showed up on zoning and subsequently disappeared sometime over the next 12 hours This has been working more or less ok for awhile - so what's happened?

And again.... It's been OK for a few days then, This evening, 2/5 quests missing on one account 1 quest /5 missing on another account As before, I had double checked that the quests had launched properly by zoning after setting them up All seemed ok Log to trader for 8 hours and there they are gone (they did not reappear in the quest list in any of these instances) Can we have some news on this?
Lost another one overnight. Had 5/5 12 hour tasks going when I logged the character off and put up an offline trader, logged in this morning to only 4/5.
Started 3 12 hour and 2 6 hour tasks this morning - just logged back in to take care of the 6 hour tasks and one of the 12 hour tasks was gone.
