Overseer AA

My character is max level for expansions owned at 115.999. I set experience to 100% AA for that character. Completing overseer tasks applies none of the experience to AA. Does anyone know if that is by design or just a current limitation in how Overseer experience is applied?

Overseer doesn't give AA-XP, only regular XP and Merc-XP.

Sounds like you are a free account. Those have AA caps. What are you at?

The only AA you can get via Overseer is if you complete collections and then those give the AA.

Yes I understand that it works that way. What I am asking about here in this post is why it works that way. Is it due to a current limitation in the game or is it by design. I am asking because I thought that someone that watches or posts on these forums with insight into DBG decision making might know.

You can max overseer AA thru doing the normal 12 hr quests. Everytime you complete a normal 12hr quest, you get regular player xp (if not at cap) plus you get overseer AA's. I've fully maxxed out 7 toons overseer this way. Don't need to kill a single mob to max the overseer AA.

You can get AA via the collections that you can get with Overseer collection bits you can choose from the Explorer and Diplomacy quests. Each collection completed will grant a % of XP and a number of AA. The higher the level when completing the collection, the greater the % and number. At level 100, each collection is 10 AA (I forget the % of XP).

I set up Explorer and Diplomacy for overnight since they're usually 12 hours (holiday/event ones are shorter) and harvest, crafter, or plunder in the morning since they're usually 6 hours (reduced time for holiday/event ones). I save up the collection bits to combine to the collection items and then use the 6hr Overseer quests for XP (or harvests when I need those).
