Other bard songs? Group

The 5/6 songs I run on top of overhaste aura are:

Overhaste aria
Suffering proc
War march
HP/MANA renewal
Melee mitigation Dirge (interchangeable)
Spry sonata (interchangeable)

3 cycles and I'll put in a selos.

Is anything else ever swapped out? I only fill group 5% of the time, usually running 3-4 people including merc. I find these 6 songs above to be most effective in group setting, whether grinding or questing. Be it pet tank, War/Sk/Pal/Mnk tank. Even if we have a wizard ... the wiz will say, "whatever, i have the AAs, don't need a bard boost." They are surprisingly self sufficient those wizzerds. We rarely if ever go oom.

The bard boost to Fire/Cold DDs seems so small compared to the dps boost from the ~7k proc from Suffering.

What level are you? Pick up the AA Selo's and never mem that song again.

Overhaste aria > Arcane Hymn > Suffering proc > fire spell bonus > War March

I parsed a decrease in dps playing overhaste song + overhaste aura. I wouldn't play overhaste aura unless you need to drop the overhaste song (playing 6 songs etc), or are often oor of your group.

I would drop the defensive songs unless your tank is having trouble, and add Arcane Hymn and Gosik's Aria (unless you have several melee dps in group). The dmg bonus from these stacks with wiz & mage stuff (fire dmg bonus will not stack with wiz RoF BP click & mage HoT/VoA click). The song wizards don't care about is overhaste aria (doesn't stack w/ familiar). If you have a caster heavy group, I'd drop war march for another regen song (chorus).

I recommend crescendo if you aren't already using it - throw it in once every 15 songs sort of like you have selo's going now. It is a big boost in regen for only needing 3 seconds of playing time (and the range on the hp/mana heal is larger than normal songs).

I always use War March, Suffering and Aria, along with over haste aura. After that it is determined by the members of the group. Gosik and Pulse for wizards(they do have another familiar)/mages and Siovoni(sp) when I have a necro. Get the AA selo's and just tie it in with your selo's kick and banestrike and call it a day!
