I wish there was an option to use a T1 piece in place of Celestial Zenith Honed Luclinite. I am one of those plat poor folks :(

Just tell us who you are and what server and you'll probably be parcel bombed millions of plat!

Do tradeskills, and you can make 8-10K pp per day from Overseer with just a few clicks. (more if you are into platinum making)

Some other modest options for you, as another traditionally plat-poor player.

Loyalty can be spent on bags of plat, which usually give ~14-15kpp. Also, you can get Gold Tickets from loyalty, and if you can sell them in Bazaar for at least 40kpp, they're a better Loyalty point -> plat conversion than the bags of plat.

Once in a while go to a zone where you can mow through mobs, and collect a load of diamonds and blue diamonds. They go for ~200pp each to vendors.

If you are able to take out names in T1 zones, even back a few expacs, those items which drop are tradable, and sell for a decent amount. The ones which, for whatever reason, don't sell for a decent amount, can be used for tribute.

Buy heritage crates and hope you pull something that sells well in the bazaar

I would also suggest this...use your monthly DBC to get one of the current heritage crates or a LoN pack if there isn't a heritage crate. Sell whatever you get. You could probably get a krono or two for some of the illusion items.

A couple of weekends ago, I threw a few of the things I had gotten from the crates/packs on a trader and made nearly 9 mil in a couple of days.

If he has got $ to buy crates, then why not just buy a krono and sell it for 5 million+ plat? No gambling necessary!

What is your definition of "a few"? I'm not trying to give you a hard time or doubt you, but my definition of a few is 2 or 3... and it would literally be impossible to make 9 million plat on 2 or 3, or even 4 items in our outdated bazaar :(

I did Mechanical Guardian when i was broke you need 3 people to get task 2 ppl 1 merc but was getting around 50kpp per hour selling vendor trash.
  10. Velisaris_MS Augur

I stuck around 15 or so various items on my trader. There were a lot of the armor ornament suits, a few nimbus items, and maybe 2 or 3 each of illusion and teleport items. I also had one of those items you combine for the blue skele merc. I sold maybe 7 or 8 items (I'd tell you which ones if the game kept log files of what we sold).

I started with nearly 3 mil in the bank and ended up with over 11 mil after 3-ish days of leaving the trader up overnight. So, somewhere between 8-9 mil from just a few items sold.

Crates are best when brand new then you can just stick 2m pp on them and they sell good for awhile. I got lucky and got the squirrel mount (not from trader but from free crate) but nobody gives me any offers guess when im online and in general its to late.
  12. Eaedyilye More stonehive bixies.

Thanks for this suggestion, I hardly ever get the crates.

So I went and got one. And viola, I got the tree squirrel mount. I don't know as of yet if I'm keeping it or selling it, I haven't hit the claim award button yet.

On my server (FV) I saw it going for 50M in General Chat.

    It's in the char's logfile:

    $EQ_HOME/Logs/eqlog_MyBazaarMule_Tunare :

[Fri Jul 28 22:53:41 2023] You sold 1 Mummy Head Ornament to Zonga for 2,500p.

It should all be in there

OP makes a request for a T1 item to be used to make a TS item. Everyone ignores the idea and tells OP how to make plat.

I will answer the OP's idea. While I understand the thought process behind, I am not a fan. There has to be some plat sinks in the game- they already took the plat sink from Guild Lobby corpse summoning, IIRC aug distiller costs have gone down, removing the plat cost to make TS armor further eliminates the sink.

I'm sure it would, if I turned logging on. I don't need it/use it, so I don't normally turn it on unless I'm trying to diagnose a problem or something like that.
  16. Brickhaus Augur

The bazaar log gets created whether or not you have /log on.
  17. Tatanka Joe Schmo

It's in the character log, not the Bazaar log.
  18. Brickhaus Augur

It might be in the character log as well, but it's definitely in the character's bzrlog.

I literally just did this with a toon that's never sold anything before in the bazaar. Made sure /log was off. Put the toon up as a trader. Bought something. bzrlog file created.

I feel like half the responses on this forum would disappear if people bothered to try something before posting (full disclosure ... been guilty myself a few times).

To add a little to what Brickhaus posted, the bazaar log (different from character log) can be found in your EverQuest direcotry in the file with this naming format:
    bzrlog_<server name>_<character name>

I also don't have logging turned on, but that file is still created and updated when I use my bazaar character. It will list the items you're selling and the list prices every time you enter trader mode. It also records when you update a price. Then it will record when someone is browsing your wares. If they purchase something, it will put in a line that soandso purchased N item name for ( total purchase price).
  20. Velisaris_MS Augur

The record of someone buying something is not my bzrlog file. I run the trader in offline mode, so there would be nothing to log. The the file stops recording anything as soon as I go offline. Perhaps if I left the trader up overnight, it might log something, but not when you go offline with the trader.
