I was able to log before installing Norton's 360 and now with VPN on I cannot. :(

So, should I shut off the primary Defense capabilities of Norton's 360, or quit playing Everquest?

    Anyone else having this problem?

Figure out how to whitelist Everquest.exe or even better uninstall Norton.

    Wow! Ok, thank you!

    I might renew my subscription.
I personally don't like google, too many junk links.

Not like the one you posted! I'll get on it tomorrow!

    I added Launchpad.exe and eqgame.exe. What am I missing?

    Still not working!

And the Ogre says... "Hep Me!, Hep Me!"

You are aware using VPN while playing EQ, or any DBG, may get you banned? Blame some Planetside 1/2 users.

Turn Norton Secure VPN off or on. You can turn off or turn on Norton Secure VPN using the Virtual Private Network Power icon. The Power icon is available in the Norton Secure VPN tab below the map. Turning off Virtual Private Network exposes your IP address and location, and makes your connection unsafe

Caused some accounts to get unintentional bans:

From Roxxy April 2018: Yup, if you're still getting a ban notice, this issue is probably related to being on Linux, Mac, or using a VPN. The blocks are not intentional, and you're account isn't actually banned - the team has figured out why it's happening and is currently looking into how to resolve it.

But I think its the VM that is instant ban.
