The announcement yall made at https://www.everquest.com/news/eq-frostfell-event-dec-2018 says the festivities will continue until January 2018 when the snow melts. Considering that was 11 months ago, does that mean there wont be any Frostfell this year? Or does it just mean there wont be anything new this year and when you recycled stuff you forgot to change the dates?
Use /calendar in-game to see when Frostfell begins and ends for this year. With Beta/new expansion launch so close, they are way behind in their messages.
The announcement is mostly a copy and paste from last year. The days of the week are also incorrect. If you note, last year they changed around the dates because of a bug and even though it is fixed the dates are still the same. It's ok, we will figure it out and the /calendar in-game works. Most important, they didn't link my wiki article this year!
I figured as much. It's just nice and reassuring to know that the folks at DB keep an eye on the message boards here to be alerted if anything were to need their attention and then go and fix whatever problems there might be. Oh, wait. It still refers to Frostfell 2017. Nevermind.
