Evilgamer was my favorite class site, because it had a bunch of really useful info stickied or otherwise readily accessible.

I'm pretty sure it's also why the average skill/knowledge on SKs is higher than on paladins.

You guys should make some polls on the new forums so hopefully they can then be quoted/referenced for the next 10 years.

The first one could be:

Should SKs have the ability to DW?
1) Yes
2) Heck Yes, DW 24/7 FTW!!!
4) Undecided
5) DW is a DPS combo, not a tank-archetype combo, therefore we should only be wielding a sword and shield at all time. Our main source of DPS should also stem from bashing monsters on the head with our heavy shields.
6) This is EQ, not a fantasy game! Shields 24/7!!!

Then ban everyone who posts in that thread.

I must admit that I don't follow SK stuff and was not aware of this forum.

However, I am fighting back against any way that EQ knowledge can be lost. By "Old forums" do you mean that everything at http://eqshadowknight.net/ is going to vanish or are there other forums that are considered the "old forums"?

In any case, I would greatly appreciate the chance to host any EQ forums and/or information that is in danger of being lost.

Please contact me so we can work out some way that this can be saved. Either PM me here or use the contact form at Fanra's EverQuest Wiki. I see that the current forum there is a vBulletin forum. My guild uses vBulletin and if I can't import it into another forum software, I'm sure my guild would be willing to host it on their forum, with an access set up for the public separate from our guild business.

Appreciate the offer but there's a misunderstanding. The SK board was EGN, ie. evilgamer.net, and it was in jeopardy of lapsing. EQShadowknight.net is the new board, with all of EGN's content transferred over to it.

@Fanra evilgamer.net has been the SK site sense 2005.

shadowknight.org was the site before that.

Without having root access to the old site, Xanathol as completely recreated the entire site with scrapers ( a crapp ton of work) so nothing was lost in the transition. Most importantly, the boobs are safe.
