Ever since installing this update I'm receiving an error with Everquest.

The code execution cannot process because xul.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

After further review my windows defender is finding Everquest.xul.dll to be a Trojan and it will quarantine this item now allowing the process to fire except when windows defender is off.

You can Add an exclusion to Windows Defender Antivirus - Microsoft Support

However, be absolutely sure that the file has not been infected before you do this.

Try sending the file to VirusTotal and seeing what it says.

    See my post below.

Oh, I should have said, just delete the file and let the EQ LaunchPad get it again. That's the best way to deal with this. Then you should have a 'clean' version.

I don't see Everquest.xul.dll in my EQ directory.

I think they mean xul.dll (from EverQuest).

Or Windows defender moved it over to the quarantined file location and you have to go there to access it.

Nope. My EQ directory has always been excluded.

There is a xul.dll, from 2010. So that would be it. :)
