Hey guys, just got a new computer, it has I3, gtx 760 and 6 gig's of ram.

It runs overwatch great, just installed EQ on it.

I launched the game got to server select, np.

Closed out, went back to reopen and went to game configuration, switched the resolution over to a different setting, and now it does a client crash as soon as you click play in the launcher.

The screen flickers for a moment then says client crash and it won't go any further.

I know it's an everquest problem and not a computer problem, just not sure what to do here.

I tried to go back in and change the resolution back, even reset to default, everything it still does the client crash every time.

Help me obi wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

A couple things and all are related to graphics so your on the right track. New computer, windows 10? Possibly dx issues:

Make sure to install dx9c first. This will need to be unpacked then the setup program ran from the unpacked location.

Once done, start the launchpad but do not hit play. Click on advanced toons (lower left) game config and set resolution to 1024x768. If you are able to get into game this can be changed via Alt O, Display Tab, Video button.

Just some ideas that came up on search. Good luck.
