Those two things aren't even relatively the same. To compare those is as absurd as comparing the health benefits of broccoli to that of a candy bar.

Yeah i know, i was responding to Roxxanna's post, hence my reply with a quote.

I know yall hate using invis potions but I had this discussion with other guild clerics as well, and the hate for no cleric on this item is real.

Honestly though, this invis is trash just like your invis potions. A non fixed timer invis that fades randomly just like invis pots, not to mention the 90k mitigation is tied to the invis. Invis drops, mitigation gone.

Just like people used to cry for permanent illusion(yay ppl got it in EoK), I could care less if clerics had a perfected invis. Give it to them. Most classes have either perfected invis, Ivu or both. So who cares.

How much less could you care?

I'm Canadian. There are far more annoying things that I say on a daily basis, trust me. lol

well i dont want to speak for roxxanna but I think she was stating how other classes get an AA or spell rez for 96% also cleric mercs can rez .. so when clerics were the only ones who had the 96% rez clicky/spell along time ago now more classes do .. and all classes if you add in the mercs and rez tokens

Once designers finished the process of eliminating class diversity, there will be Universals (have everything) and Clerics (missing an invis).
So you should rather be happy, at least you can keep your class.

Chanters have always had IVU. I think it does make sense lore wise. Mages and wizards didn't get it until VoA.

Wizards have had it since Velious at least.

Honestly, I've never understood the lore explanation for no cleric invis (unless you're saying "1st Edition D&D clerics didn't have invis, so that the Lore!").

I mean... our powers come from the gods. The gods can grant us the power to restore life, and bend the fabric of space to gate, and produce infinite burned bread, but can't hide us from our (non-undead) foes?

They say it because it is possible for them to care a smaller amount about the topic at hand than they currently do. Likely because if they didn't care at all they would not have commented at all to begin with.

As far as the original discussion goes, if classes who have never had any spell version of IVU have now gotten an AA that gives them a permanent IVU buff, then clerics should honestly gotten an AA that gives them a permanent Invis buff or at the very least been included on a item like this.
