DisconnectReasonOtherSideTerminated and DisconnectReasonUnacknowledgedTimeout points to a TCP problem and the server is closing the connection. Maybe your TCP timeout values are too small on the modem or you have some nonstandard proprietary Netgear feature enabled.

I would suspect the Netgear modem first, then your ISP, then your PC in that order.

As for the router/modem. I had disabled all additional features like spi or what not as well as put myself on the DMZ/port forward. The "shield" they call it I don't have installed/activated on it, cuz i assumed that was all the bloat stuff i dont want/need.

The PC I've literally done everything at this point lol, even replacing the crap network card (never buy anything with a Killer network card).

And this is only a problem with this game. I can literally play any other game, while streaming to twitch even, and be fine no issues.

I would run an isolation test to rule out the PC. Make a hot-spot using your mobile phone and connect your PC to that via wireless. This will determine if it's your PC or not. Based on that result you can decide to change out your modem.

having the same issues with the game since the windows 10 update. had to reinstall all fresh windows in each comp, and forego any 'features' or options. just barebones. all 3 comps died to the august/sept updates, first was nvidia card going black the day of update, then the other 2 having issues trying to go online and revive the first. Finally able to get things goin, and noticing EQ, I cannot log on with 3 comps any longer, only 2 can 'connect', and the game lags badly, especially the moors, or PoK. not sure if /follow has alot to do with game functionality, but it definitely exasperates the lag...many times watching my other comp run across the screen but 2nd comp is still standing next to me fighting on the other monitor, then find 2nd comp gets teleported across the map.
I get it, I love making team intimidation and the chaos it can cause, but.. you aint gotta add anymore chaos than im already producing.
further and more serious, I really came back to check things out, sub up anf get serious on retirement in eq. but not if i cant play the game. basics at this point arent even being met, and the frustration cap of not being able to play or eating death xp from the lag caused is not infinite.

For an update to anyone coming to read this thread. I asked about it on the eq discord and got a program to steadily check my tracert to the eq servers. Found a section of the tracert that was causing about a 10% packet loss and I believe was causing me to occasionally lose connection since the game doesn't deal with lost packets well. I attempted to use a VPN and didn't disconnect at all. So my option is to get Comcast to do something about the route it's using (lol) or just use a VPN when playing EQ.
    Racain and Skuz like this.

Worth contacting your ISP but yeah, they don't have a great reputation on such matters.
At least VPN offers a solution.
