That particular image has origins in EQII. It is supposedly a calendar or timeline of sorts. http://www.zam.com/wiki/War_of_Zek_(EQ2_Lore) That 'erudite' symbol can be found upon doors and other objects within Erudin, Paineel and the Hole. So its not illogical to assume its related to Erudites.
