That's actually not true.

Vernril Sathir in Ruins of Kunark dropped loot that drops from Veeshans Peak, the top tier raid dungeon for the Ruins of Kunark expansion. It was that way BY DESIGN from the beginning for Randomized Loot. That defined what Randomized Loot meant for these servers.

Any changes to how randomized loot works after that is a CHANGE to the definition of Randomized Loot.

As such, when the Scars of Velious expansion was opened, it was no surprise to anyone that Vulak loot was dropping in non-NToV raid zones. It was expected because the precedent for randomized loot had been set with the Ruins of Kunark expansion.

Now before you say that the Sleepers Tomb loot was not dropping anywhere outside of Sleepers Tomb, try to keep in mind that Sleepers Tomb was the most special raid zone in the history of EverQuest. Nobody expected Sleepers Tomb loot to drop anywhere but in Sleepers Tomb little lone keep dropping pre-awoken Sleeper loot after The Sleeper was awoken. That is such an outlier of a raid zone, that it can not be used in any expectations of anything.

Plain and simple, Plane of Time loot SHOULD drop off of raid bosses that are one tier away from Plane of Time at minimum. Plane of Time loot only dropping in the Plane of Time is completely backwards to the precedent set early on for how a Randomized Loot server works.

Should Plane of Time gear be dropping off of Majaki? No. Hell no, and those people that exploited it should be punished. There is NO WAY top tier loot should drop off of a one groupable mob that is instantly repeatable non-stop. The people that did it knew that was wrong, and they did it repeatedly because they knew it would get nerfed. They knew they were exploiting, and they did it anyway.

The only people that use that word are criminals and 3rd graders.

ST loot was dropping outside of ST. It dropped in NTOV. Pre and post awakened loot dropped and is still dropping.

The big loot buckets are just more fun. Removing mobs who can be exploited for instant farming from the bucket makes sense. If removing time from the bucket is done temporarily to try to identify any other mobs that are similarly exploitable but with plans to add it back after, that makes sense. Flat removing time from the buckets just ruins the feeling of 'wow, flagging is more fun this time because we might get awesome stuff, and we will actually have a reason to do a variety of raids just to mix things up once flagging is finished!

Please consider spending the time to take a scalpel to this.
