Is the Skyshrine mission collectible set supposed to be such a roadblock for players? Request mission, wait 45-ish seconds 'Ready' to Water Sprin, wait for 20-500 seconds for zoning time based on the current state of the EverQuest servers Zone in, run carefully for a couple of miles to the bridge past a ton of see-invis mobs Engage/kill 4 golems that I haven't found a way to run past on the bridge Carefully run some more, to the doomsayer room Kill 14 mobs for collectibles, get 0-2 per run drop mission, wait another 30-ish seconds Zone back to the mission NPC. Rinse/Repeat. Was this nonsense intended? Is there any chance we can have more drakes, or drop the collectibles from the golems/gargoyles as well?
4. Mage runs from ZI to the Drake room, fading after 2 Golems that MIGHT agro (there is a way), ignore the rest. 5. COTH the group 6. Kill 12 Drakes (either 11 or 12, don't think as many as 14). Drop mission and Repeat ad-nauseum. - Takes longer to get mission, zone and run, than it does to kill...
That ability that when activated, instantly teleports you up to 160 feet forward can help you past that tricky golem spot. Rocketeer boots while sitting on a mount and moving forward while air-bound on the correct side of the bridge to avoid the golems otherwise there's that 160 feet forward AA again.
It does not even need to be tricky. You zig zag and cut corners avoiding mobs. Kill one hallway golem where there are one on each side, then kill two golems staying on one side of the bridge. I does not take very long at all. The ToV mission collection and even the giants in WW were much worse.
