Fixed Internally Monolith the Unstoppable in EW bugged attack speed.

So I killed Mono the other day and it was the same as every other named in EW, We tried to kill him today and he attempted to hit our tank 743 times in the time it took raid deflection+shield flash to drop. He attempted to hit the ranger 288 times during weaponshield.

We saw the same thing happen this weekend with Thosgromri Warmgranite in The Great Divide. We killed him normally (with a mage, cleric also playing chanter + tank merc, mage pet, cleric merc and wizard merc). When he respawned in a different location (it was the next morning), we tried him again and he went ape crazy. Hyper speed hitting and killed both the pet and tank merc in 1 round of 7 hits it seemed each time we tried him.

And Gerton Dumkin in Great Divide Saturday on Bertoxxulous. Both Thosgromri and Gerton splatted us that day.

Same happened with Thosgromri Warmgranite. He was casting Burst of Flames and Necromantic Curse, but also emoted "Thosgromri Warmgranite drains the life of their attacker", which seems to be the emote for Consuming Zeal triggered by Rousing Consumption which was incidently the focus on Adamant Triumphant Cloud Soulrender Breastplate worn by the SK tank.

At this point, I am pretty sure this is just as intended. There are a ton of mobs that do this, and its pretty cool actually. Use deflection and bring a group and burn it the frig down.

If it's intended, it's poor design. There is no indication when/if the mob will do this so you can prepare for it. And it pretty much removes the possibility of a lot of non-optimal groups being able to kill them.

No way it's intended. I can see one or two named having a buff that turns them into buzzsaws, but not random named mobs randomly having it.

Kind of wish i could fight one though before they fix it

Much like the diseased ice that is spreading across Velious; this bug is also spreading across named. There are about 4-5 named in GD right now on our server with this buzzsaw capability. It appears they have no delay on attacks.

We witnessed something similar with Monolith the Unstoppable in EW this morning. He killed the entire group in a matter of ~5 seconds, including the SK with shield and tank discs running. It appears to be an issue with strikethrough? It appears to be random as our group had zero issue killing Zburatir the Damned in the same zone about an hour earlier.

Current theory is that he is only uber when he is carrying his purse.

Fortitude with the raid BP is 24second, I was murdered in 13. Lots of misses during that 13 seconds from him, LOTS, with enough stikethroughs to kill.

Tucho.. how do we get their purses from them? I need a purse.

This guy is a major pain in the butt, he either needs adjusting or the orc that spawns in his room for a quest needs to be moved out.

He is finally dead on AB again.

75 player zone restriction is not enough when you bring a raid to kill a bugged mob!

Laima Ratgur did this also. We killed him once, he respawned in the next spawn point and we pulled him. He took down the group in a couple seconds.

Bumping so other see and can hit like so devs can fix this. Happens to ANY named that has an equippable non-weapon item (aug, whatever).

Gives them essentially 0 delay attacks.

Where did you get this idea from? It isn't true I have killed tons of other named with augs and it doesn't cause it. Now it may happen because I think both those mobs can drop the weapon damage aug. That isn't any because normal augs won't cause this.
