Mischief/Thornblade & LDON pts

Looking ahead, if LDON is only going to be around for one month (thank you!!!!!), then the point system (and the augment quest progression) *really* need to be scaled up for the content to have real, accessible value in era. It requires thousands of hours of grinding to fully level the Adventurer's Stone- something that almost never* happens on previous TLPs with three months of LDON grinding and will be impossible with only a third of that time available on these two (and hopefully future) TLP servers.

Its not like they are shutting off LDON as soon as GOD launches, everyone if free to go back and do things there if they want.

No one needs a fully leveled Adventurer's Stone. But since it is the bis item for quite a few expansions, you really, really don't need one by the time GoD launches.

A quick glance says a couple raids have augs that are possibly better but jot definitively in DoDH, otherwise the wayfarer brotherhood Emblem is good until RoF at least. I agree, no need to increase the points, if you want it go get it.

You need to complete the following amount of missions in each theme for a fully upgraded augment:
Deepest Guk (South Ro) – 70
Miragul’s (Everfrost) – 68
Mistmoore (Butcherblock) – 76
Rujarkan (Commonlands) – 74
Takish (North Ro) – 78
Total: 366
If you think it's easy (or even possible) to find many people willing to return to LDON after GoD opens, I've got a bridge to sell you.

Sounds like a simple 100 hour endeavor.

Other than the stone there is no value "in era." The gear from PoP is way better than LDON.

Box it or find 2 friends and grind away. The Aug is probably one of, if not THE longest lasting item that eventually gets replaced (ig oring items that never get replaced).

The one from dragons, dragons, dragons replaces it well before RoF. I forget what expansion it goes live at though, SOD or thereabouts? I suppose on a fast moving server like Selos, the timing might be off and you might potentially hit RoF before getting dragonsx3.

If you care about doing it in era, just do it in era. its only 366. They take less than 10 min each on normal. 60 hours is really not that big for the type of people who care about doing stupid things like this in era lol.

I think a lot of you are missing one very important point. Not everybody is in a race to the end. There are definitely going to be casuals and casual guilds. I fully expect there will be plenty of people that take their time and run LDoN groups to get enough points. I don't see myself spending much time there at all this time around.

It requires 366 missions to complete the stone. With a high powered group pulling trains and AEing them down on normal boss missions, average mission uptime can be around 7-8 minutes. Our fastest in era was 3 minutes. Add in a bit of travel to request the next one for some locations, let's call it 10 minutes average per mission total = 3,660 minutes = 61 hours.

That estimate is for a pretty tryhard group. Let's say your average time per mission is closer to 20 minutes instead of 10 for a more casual group. That's 122 hours. Is it a lot of time for one aug? Sure. But it's absolutely nowhere near thousands of hours, and a dedicated group can absolutely get that done within a month if they choose to. And the reward doesn't just disasppear after LDoN, you can keep running them later on too.

As for finding people to do them, I highly recommend joining an active guild and getting some folks to jump on that train with you! Just looking for pickup groups in /lfg is always slower, both in terms of finding the groups and actually completing the missions.

This will be my 6th tlp, always in end game guilds with people who play hard- I've never seen anyone who managed to fully level their augment. Just out of curiosity, how many of you saying that the Adventurer's Stone doesn't take too much time to level have ever actually finished leveling one up on a tlp yourself?

By the time LDoN went live on Mangler I was very well geared from time/elements so I was hard capped on all my relevant stats. The time investment to get an extra 100hp and 10ac just weren't worth it and I doubt I'd bother even if it only took 20-30 hours.

gotta think the easiest and therefor most likely way to make the stone more accessible in era is to revert ldon back to 2 months

It's not worth it. And neither is ldon worth more than 1 month.

LDoN launched May 6th 2020 on Mangler, completed just barely over a month after that. I'm sure there's plenty of folks who did it faster than that.

D3 goes live in November, ZAM has it flagged as SoD so if both of those are true then Phinny was in RoF and Coirnav will be in RoF and Selo was in EoK. So maybe sod isn't when it opens? Mischief and a Thornblade will be in SoD during Nov so I guess they'd be able to get it earlier than previous servers due to their launch date and unlock cadence.

Being a completionist on a TLP is just asking for a world of hurt if you are a casual player. Don't worry about finishing everything if you want to stay in era.
