Mischief Server looks like it will be the best EQ TLP server ever

If there is a bot team on literally every named spawn point in the whole game then the prices on every group drop will be rock bottom

It will work itself out, once again, no different than any other TLP.

The other way is there’s a bot team in this pick and this pick and that pick, etc. This opens up more possibilities and bot teams can’t cover everything.

All I can say again is.....can't wait for the kill stealing and bot army complaints to go full force on this server.

No worries mate, we'll let you know how it goes. Enjoy Karendune.

Yes but unless you were blind to the 30+ armies on Aradune..you know the RMT people have their ways, especially since they will hide in DZ's. And while everything is droppable, it still takes a legit raid force to kill CT Vulek, Emp, VT, ect. There maybe 60 Burrower robes on the bazaar but there will be like 4 EMP robes. They will make their money, just in a new way. The amount of trouble tickets they are going to have to swim through on this server means the CS team will be overwhelmed. Meanwhile someone with 30 boxes is shredding named in a DZ.

I'm sure you and many others will. Keep slinging the server name insults as if it hurt my feelings. Keep assuming you know how I feel about the server ruleset or whether I will play there or not. Keep responding to every post I make. You are entertaining.

Almost dead on accurate, especially the fun CS team will have. The part I will disagree with is the Bazaar loot. The randomization of loot should make most things generally available equally, depending on how wide the boss levels are calculated for the random loot.

This server gives the average player a greater opportunity to get items without being bottlenecked by farmers camping a single zone & spawn. People will always find a way to make money whether its selling plat, kronos, or LR's. This server will increase item accessibility to everyone.

You have an interesting way of showing your affection with the constant insults to the rule set. You set out to trash it due to your interests lying elsewhere, quit acting like a fair and impartial juror.

It's cute that you are obsessed with me, but thanks I guess for following my posts.

Please, go on about how my interests elsewhere are what are driving me to point out the truth and how it benefits me. I can't wait to hear.

The krono lords will have to figure out the harder to kill targets, low-hanging fruit drops will be common as muck just by virtue of the vastly larger number of named that can drop them, instead of making their money on one easy to faceroll camp they'll need to be doing a lot more work in trickier camps - not all the krono lords are going to be able to adapt.

This greater competition is going to be very interesting to watch play out, if the effort involved becomes much higher versus the rewards it could push the bot teams in different directions but the flexibility the system gives the devs likely means they can easily react to what they are doing.

Still waiting for the part where you present some truths. So far I've heard generic arguments that could be applied to literally any server.

I can't wait to dps race every named

In every zone in the game. With your countless bot armies.

That's kinda the point - this encourages people into zones that haven't been in the meta for decades, find a nice off-the-beaten-track place to kill and you are still rewarded cool loot.

i hope that the experience is better-normalised alongside randomized loot so that both loot and xp are not the determining factors of where players go to play, instead they will play in the zones they find most interesting or ones they never saw before.

    Adventuring may happen.

Welcome to a new EverQuest experience! Very exciting!

Exactly it's going to be chaos! Game is going to be so competitive! Every named has equal value so it makes sense to try and kill every one you come across

I hear you and I see your point BUT while someone maybe able to kill Tormax and Dain for example, they might not be able to pull off AOW/Vulek/Tunare. Gives the average player a chance but still gives the hardcore RMT farmer/team of farmers extra advantages. Someone who can get 5 pieces of loot sold on the bazaar before someone can sell 1 of comparable level means when a krono comes up for sale cheap they can snipe it faster because its not out of their prices range.

The other thing that I don't think that is being factored in well is the XP for each zone. Chardok/Velks for example are still best xp, are you really going to want to go to Sirens over them just because of random loot? I think XP is going to still be the deciding factor on zone population once AA's come into play, not rares.

    It's something new for sure.

I won't be there myself unless they say they will switch off truebox at some point (i still want it on for the pre dodh content). And playing as a Berserker from the server start is still something I would love to see but Mischief ruleset is definitely novel.
