Not A Bug Mercenary slot missing

I just purchased an extra mercenary slot from the DB store. I immediately checked the Manage Mercenaries switch window and there was a new empty slot present. I claimed a contract of the Jann and triggered it then went to buy a new mercenary.from the mercenary liaison. When I tried to buy the mercenary I got a message saying I had no available slots. I checked the switch window and my new slot had gone. I checked my DB cash balance and the 900 DB purchase price has been taken.

Did you log in through the patcher? If not, try logging in with it and see if that fixed it.
