It would be nice for future TLPs if you guys changed how the LDoN unlocks work. If you did 2 months for PoP+2 months for LDoN instead of 3 and 3 it would be really nice.

Increase the drop rate of these

Understandable that it would be a lot of work, but is it possible that for the short term, a modifier could be added to all of the raid loot drops in LDoN raids to double or triple the drop rate at least for the short term until such time that someone might have the time to go back and do it properly?

Obviously, I wouldn't know how much work that would take, so I'm asking you if adding a straight across the board drop rate increase for raid loots in the LDoN expansion is a large task to accomplish. If it was just a database thing, I could fix it for you in a heartbeat (of which I assume your DBAs could do as well). If it's a code thing, I wouldn't know with out looking at the code (which we all know isn't ever happening lol).

Either way, thanks for the response.

Please stop repeating this lie. Lots of fantastic focus effects, heroic stats, and clicky effects drop in LDoN raids. I don't know what this "risk" you're talking about in LDoN is, the rewards are there, and the raids actually have you do things more than just "walk into room, tank & spank mob, LT out" like every other raid up to this point.

LDoN was already changed to 2 months, where have you been?

If they added like raid points or an alt currency to the LDoN system where you could actually buy the raid drops when/if you go weeks of farming the raids only to have the AC augs and few useful items not appear. I think it would make people way more willing to do these.

This. Was going to suggest it. Move all LDoN raid chest drops to an LDoN vendor in one of the camps, give raid points per difficulty of the raid, and be done with it. Folks can concentrate on having "fun" on the raids instead of disappointed that their guild won't do Prison Break again to try and get the pet augment to even drop after the annoyance doing the event.

Honestly they just need to have the raids give Adventure points and credit towards the Charm Aug. That is all that is needed to up the interest in the LDoN raids.

Miena beat me to it, but raid currency and/or LDoN points in order to purchase raid items would be a perfect solution. Coupla type 3's in there that I'd like to fill some empty slots but gambling for the drop with my time just isnt worth it to me. Farming currency or points with a hard end goal though would be doable. Also would keep you (the devs) from having to re-itemize or balance LDoN.

The problem isn't the amount of loot dropping the problem is a handful of the good LDoN drops like the plate AC augs are stupid rare and a lot of the trash drops like 4hp regen augs are super common.

Then for some reason the best plate and the best chain ac aug drop in the lower tier mission for some weird reason.

Well, if your entire guild isn't geared in stuff almost as good or better, because PoP content hasn't been farmed, it makes it more valuable.
  12. yepmetoo Abazzagorath

Those things would need to cost a TON of points though. Maybe have to beat each raid once to open up the items on the vendor. Sounds good to me.

Ok maybe Time vs Reward is a better way to put it. Either way it's not a lie. You can clear like 3-4 a typical night if you are faster and efficient. Most guilds are more in the 2-3 a night range. Are there really good augs? Absolutely, no one is arguing that fact. The problem is the amount of time it takes to get those augs and the chance you get 0 useful loot is high. Over 2 months you will probably see 2-3 of each of the important augs you want. That's a ton of time spent raiding to get what. 15 items?

So no, the reward does not match up with the effort it takes to run those raids and the risk you have of spending that time to get 0 useful items. It's a lot of fun when you get your 200th +4 regen aug.

Yes that's true. But you are better off doing other raids than the LDONs for the amount of time they take, the amount of gear they give, and the quality of that gear.

if we could just get double the spawn of "chests"(the containers that spawn with the loot) at the end of the ldon raids, thatd go a long way to alleviate the issue.

as said a few times in this thread, its not that there arent good items, its just the time invested vs potential reward isnt worth it.

actually counting the wins and earning points for the raids would help get interest in them as well, maybe even throw the raid rewards on the vendors for a high amount of points if we wanna get frisky
