Mangler is once again asking for Relaxed Truebox

Coirnav is a special case, their time line for expansions was also changed, it was done to help them complete the content on the shorter time line. I'm sure if Mangler was in the same position they would do the same thing. Maybe you'll get Relaxed Truebox next year when they want to merge Mangler into live early.

Yes please! I've never heard from anyone that would oppose removing truebox this late on a TLP. Universal support for this as far as I know.

The fact that you do not recognize the names of the players posting here shows that you're either not on mangler or have been woefully uninvolved with the servers community.

Every guild leader on the server was asked to share this with their members and get a quick like and post of support. I'd you're seeing a lot of new members, it shows these people have never cared to post much on the forums but find this cause worthy. I'm one of those people.

I do not box currently and have not done so in over a year. This change for the better would change that.

Not just Coirnav, it’s just a standard part of TLP rulesets since it’s inception, it’s on all 3 of the latest TLPs released. If Mangler were announced today, relaxed truebox would definitely be included. I really don’t think it breaks with the spirit of Mangler, just something they hadn’t developed yet at our release.

Oh you solved the puzzle, Mezo and Pixn are the same person. Thankfully they've kept up their masterful charade on mangler for three years waiting for this thread.

The biggest issue with truebox on Mangler now is people getting Trueboxed mid raid, for accidently pushing the same button too fast on multiple pc's. We are into the era where most guilds are using boxes for raiding, to fill out the 54. Losing a Healer or a Tank mid boss encounter means a wipe in many cases. We shouldn't need to VPN our boxes and find workarounds to follow the rules.

Ngreth confirmed to me that this was an unlikely scenario unless our population dropped to the point of ghost town status.

Being granted relaxed truebox on Coirnav was a special case. Once they announced the intent to merge us there was the predictable bleeding from folks moving on and this helps to mitigate it somewhat. I think for the most part, the same people who boxed before box now. With anti-is__boxer code still enabled I think it is actually more efficient tp continue the same set up I had prior to this.

Mangler still seems healthy. I hope they try to prevent what happened to Coirnav by acting sooner rather than later to help support that community.

Remember when only the newest progression server had Agents of Change? And they kept it that way for awhile? And then eventually everyone agreed that Agents of Change are great, and that all servers should have them?

That's relaxed truebox now. We're in the early stages of recognizing how much sense it makes for every server. The Mangler population is hoping to push this progress forward and show the powers that be that relaxed truebox is good for any mature TLP server. You won't find a single active Mangler player who is clamoring to keep truebox. Not one.

You'll find a few weird forum trolls who can't fathom the idea that this cause has enough universal support to get a few dozen likes on a post. But you won't find anyone against the idea in the original post.
