The improved magic damage focus on Necromancer helmets is not triggering for the Composite Paroxysm spell. Using the COV helmet, a 100-135% increase should be applied. The effects that the composite abilities trigger are level 250 which is far above the level the focus effects can modify.. I'm pretty sure its that way for all the composites (for instance cleric composite blessing is not modified by heal focus).. Now if this is by design or not I don't know.. only the dev's can answer.
