Guild Mission

Magic and Melee is a Mangler TLP EST raiding guild. Our intention is to be spouse friendly, box friendly, and casual friendly. We aim to create a tight knit group of individuals who want to collect pixels efficiently.

Guild Social Environment

We are a very “(im)mature” guild by nature. Language is loose, content is loose, and we rag on eachother. Most of us preparing to play at launch are friends from Phinigel and have a history with plenty of jokes, but we are very interested in adding new blood to our group.
We get serious when needed, but we would rather have fun.
We will not tolerate toxic or drama-causing individuals.
Racism, sexism, and any other negatively oriented ism is also not tolerated.

Guild Raiding Objectives

Our raid objectives are to clear current content, but we will not be actively competing for server firsts. We will be maximizing lockouts as effectively as possible (through FFA nights, etc.), but we will maintain a primarily week-day raid schedule to strive for a family / spouse friendly schedule. If we have the numbers, we will evaluate the viability of split raiding, as long as it does not inhibit our ability to finish on time reliably.

Member Requirements

Very few! We don’t currently have any character requirements, since the server hasn’t launched yet, but we do expect that you keep your character reasonably geared and AA’d once the time comes.


Any applications posted before the server launch and with in the first week will be accepted as full members. Any applications posted after will follow our applicant guidelines posted in our guild Handbook!

Magic and Melee is alphabetically pleasing, and rolls off the tongue better. Melee and Magic is a little more awkward sounding imo.
