Lockout system for raids

All this is great but I surely hope that the devs remember to add a lockout to dzadding before the mob dies so that people can'tjust getdzadded to an empty instancetoloot.

Just about every raid instance anywhere in EQ allows this. No reason to change it.

Add more barriers to the system to prevent people from entering an instance to loot a trade-able item (most of the time). Seems like a great use of resources.....

Its used in alot of the early dz's. Its not something new. And the reason why they stopped doing it was cause the rewards started being no drop.

This will block /quitters from avoiding the lockout while a 10 person mage team remains to finish the boss off in the final %. You want loot? Take the lockout.

    On test server currently:
You can add at anytime, but joining gets you the 2.5 day lockout.
You get the 6.5 day lockout for the boss when you engage the boss or lair mobs.

So, it prevents people from helping kill the boss and not getting a lockout, which is exactly what we need to avoid. Adding people after its dead is not a big deal (and they get the 2.5 day lockout doing this anyway)
