    I don't think they will do mergers any time soon unless they have fixed the issues displayed in the Vulak / Fippy merge. However, they could just simply open up free transfers from LJ to RF or RF to LJ to create a "merge" and give people enough of a heads up. Or they could just open up paid transfers both ways. Right now, LJ can go there but no one can come to LJ.
