The only way paladins can keep respectable DPS vs Pure DPS classes is if they can keep Blessing of the Faithful up for the whole event and that coinciding with long events. That's just to be in the ballpark too, not to be neck and neck. There are SEVERAL classes able to sustain 1M give or take 100k over 10-15 minute periods. On live targets Paladins are not one of them. Lag can certainly be a factor as well in regards to pseudo pumping certain classes and dragging others down a good bit. Paladins definitely need a live DPS boost, or lacking that SK's/Wars to be brought down to earth. (I prefer option 2, Tankquest is annoying). I definitely wouldn't advocate against boosts based off your lack of results from your guildmates.
