Just got the Wibble's Halfling Ringmail Ornament set (it says it can be only used in armor with a leather or cloth appearance). It looks all right, except the legs don't look like pants, they look like a robe. Even the icon for the legs looks like the bottom half of a robe. Working as intended or an oops ?
I think its intended since if you look up the Wibble's on Bonzz all the pictures look like the bottom half of a robe. Sames as a few others like Welteria's Erudite http://www.bonzz.com/herosforge.htm
Yup. W = Women's, M = Men's. You can see all of the heritage (Velious) armor graphics on their original models here: https://wiki.project1999.com/Players:Fashion Female armor sets: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/search.html?q=suit of W Male armor sets: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/search.html?q=suit of M
Good links but I get lost on many of those cause you have to click more links to see the links and some on Allah don't have pics. Bonzz is also 360 interactive. When you click on his it takes you to an U tube video showing all sides and movement. Between all of these suggestions a player should have a good choice.
The allah's links are just search results for "Suit of W" or Suit of M" which gives you the names of all of the sets. I didn't add them for the images, just to demonstrate the W/M convention used.
Wiska's Ogre Ringmail Legs Ornament has a pants look, not a robe look. Which may or may not be relevant. The point being that cloth and leather ornaments usually display as either robe, or cloth, or leather look. Sets of armor indicate which look by either using the words chest or robe as the name for chest piece. Legs are legs, i.e., pants not the bottom half of a robe. If the intended look was a robe look for Wibble's armor ornaments then the chest piece should have been designated as a robe, and not chest. But all in all, it really doesn't matter. It's just semantics.
I mean, it looks exactly how it is supposed to, based on the Velious armor. Halfling: Ogre: If you get any of the Erudite sets, they all have a "skirt" look to the legs ornament: The heritage crates have no robe ornament, because there was no robe look unique to a race in Velious. There is no bug and nothing was done incorrectly. It isn't even semantics, the "legs" look for Velious armor graphics simply reflect what the original sets looked like. You can preview the item looks, in game, prior to purchasing/claiming the item.
