launcher not working?

Not working for me either. I've tried all the old 'ip" fixes from the last connection error and got no where. 1 out of 5 attempts will get to the login screen, only to get

"A connection to the server could not be reached"

Similar issue. I can patch the game, but when I click on the play button it does not pass the my authentication to the game servers, hence I can't even make to the server select screen. For a while, there was also an issue logging into the forms, with the appearance that the log in server was down.

On a side note, there was a patch of about 6M or so to the game of some zone files, as well as eqgame.exe and dx driver.

It took about half an hour to log into the forms.

Not working here either. Hoping like last time it's less than an hour to fix but going on 45min now.

This has been going on at least once a week for over a month now....

all i know is this is the third time this has happened in month with this login BS and i have 2 gold accounts i think they need to get there together or start handing out some free day or even better weeks or maybe 1000 station cash

My friend in Alaska and in North Carolina both have this issue, so that makes me pretty sure it is SOE.

SOE is having a party, no everquest for us as they laugh all the way to the bank.

Took almost an hour to login to the forums.

I was able to get into the fourms without a probelm

Telling me a connection to the server cannot be reached.

Do we not have an answer as of yet on this issue from anyone in the IT dept at SoE?
