Kronos down over 100k in 2 weeks?

This is looting all gem/cash loot items + all named item drops (I did not loot all the crappy items not worth filling my bags with). From Tuesday - Friday this past week I leveled my shaman from 43-58 grouped with my 65 ranger in Sebilis clearing all mobs on the top level minus crypt. You will see named dropped items selling for less then 10k total and gem loot selling for less then 20k.

Because those drops don't differ server to server? They are the same whether you are on Mischief or Aradune or Manger or Ragefire. The raw plst generation is literally a constant from random vendor trash. The ONLY change is influx of named gear which he is showing isn't accounting for 10x the regular amount of plat on any given server.

Critical thinking is required. Stop being so willingly ignorant

Just because I know at some point it will be asked, here are the rollups and breakdowns of approximately how much you can expect to make in old seb.

Total mobs killed: 1,535
Total plat from gems / cash loot: ~17,500pp
Total plat from named item drops: ~9,500pp
Total plat directly looted off mobs: ~7,000pp
Grand Total plat :~34,000pp

Avg plat per mob: ~22pp

Using this as a reference point you would need to kill ~4500 mobs in Old Sebilis to make 100kpp in vendor loot.

To put that in perspective, if you killed 1 mob every 10 seconds for 12.5 hours straight in Old Sebilis, you could make 100kpp in pure platinum loot (spoiler: it's impossible to do this because there aren't enough mobs in the zone to support this output).

Sure they don't differ from server server but they are still a large part of what a player is earning while farming things and shouldn't be ignored when talking about how much you can earn. And again as I have stated multiple times this isn't about what a single player is earning but the combined effort of all the players on the servers including all the botters who have incentive to earn as much as they can to try and control the krono market.

You can easily deduce from one person mass killing that the math doesn't add up. Just try to not being so ignorant. The botters were no different on Mischief than any other server. It is literally impossible to farm that much plat in just 4 weeks with a population level less than Aradune/Riz during that same era

If you want to show evidence that it isn't possible to get the plat from pure farming you should be showing all the evidence not just what you think is relevant. It doesn't help anyone if some data is excluded because it is the "same" on other servers.

I just showed a ton of evidence this is not possible using Old Sebilis as an example - the logs I posted are from Mischief. Are you saying what I showed is excluding something or do not believe it? Do you want the 300k+ lines of raw logs I loaded to SQL to compute these numbers? As Frank said, there is no amount of mental gymnastics you can do to account for the pure amount of platinum on the server.

Here's another fun example to show the absurdity of the volume of plat on this server.

Lemdul showed he had ~220M raw platinum on his character in another thread (I am in no way suggesting Lemdul had anything to do with a dupe/exploit)

Given what I showed above that mobs in Old Sebilis drop 22pp worth of platinum loot on average and that the server has been up for about 300 days now, 1 Old Sebilis mob would need to be killed every 1 second, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the time the server launched to now to hit that 220M in plat loot number Lemdul has on his character.

Youre completely ignoring the fact that it wasnt the server as a whole causing these price spikes. There were specific buyers who literally came in over night and bought every krono in the bazaar on multiple occasions. Someone had a massive, unrealistic amount of plat. There was no one locking down entire zones 24/7. The world isnt big enough to hide something like that. Even the guy who runs 6 groups in sg 24/7, who is about the closest person to pull something like this off, scoffed at it, because they basically ruined his hustle.

Not sure what the unwillingness to get the concept of a plat dupe is. Don't care either way, but we all know item dupes have consistently occurred over the years. Not a hard stretch to get some item that sells for several hundred plat and dupe that and sell it to vendors either.

I decided to expand my testing to anyone thinking "maybe seb just isn't good cash loot, those AOE people killing tons of mobs bring in boatloads!". I am pretty sure in other threads people have claimed to make 400k+ from AOE "The Deep" groups after selling the drops.

This was not as long and extensive as my sebilis testing, but from start to finish I killed 147 mobs in the deep, clearing a path through the entire zone. Here are the breakdowns for the hoards of plat that AOE deep people make (I decided to loot every last item on every corpse so it can't be said "you excluded some drops!").

Total mobs killed The Deep: 147
Total plat made from selling all drops to vendor: 775pp
Total plat made straight off of mobs: 88pp
Avg. plat per mob in The Deep: ~6pp (rounded up)

That said, the person claiming to of made 400k+ from the AOE deep group drops must have killed a whopping 66,666 mobs! As a side note, that 400k off of 66,666 mobs in the deep would not even be enough to buy a single krono at the peak krono price in PoP.

Another absolute complete BS story dispelled. Any other "secret" zones these hoards of plat are coming in from on Mischief?
