Kismet, Kitsu, Mauzer, what other names he was known as is no longer part of this life.

Hi All,

I'm sorry to post this but my friend Chris a long time RL friend and EQ player has passed from this Earth. I introduced Chris to Ultima Online, and then EverQuest back in the 90s and he absolutely loved EQ with a passion. I'm sorry I don't know all the names he played under but I knew he had characters in many games as Kitsu, Kitzu, Kismet, Mauzer, etc. Some of you may wonder why he wasn't on for raiding when you were expecting him, and he would never miss it without telling someone. This time he didn't have a chance, he was 46 years old and passed in his sleep from a heart attack. He was expected at a gold outing and when he didn't show his Dad checked in on him. So sad to have this happen... Please let anyone that knows him know what happened. Please add any other names he played under over all these years in EQ. R.I.P. Chris, you will be missed.

I always suspected EQ caused heart problems

I don't even know where to start. He wasn't playing on Teek, but popped in for a couple of hours Sunday night to hang out, catch up on life and brighten our grind. Nothing seemed terribly out of sorts and then this.

If you never had the pleasure of getting to know Kismet he was just about the best friend you could hope to have. Loyal, trustworthy, dependable.

Take a minute and hug your loved ones. You never know when it will be your last chance.

Played with him the last 4 years in TEQB on Aradune. Wasn't close friends but I always had great respect for him and his abilities.

Kismet was a loyal friend. He was always available to help and put others ahead of himself. He loved to share pics of his cats, his ice fishing trips, and he absolutely loved EverQuest. I am so happy that I got to know him a bit in our short time as friends. He always called me a goofball.

He will be greatly missed. He will be fondly remembered.

When I came back for Call of the Forsaken he was the first person to message me on Discord to see if I was really returning. Kismet you were awesome guy to know and play with. You will be missed. Farewell, Hero.
